This is a 3 class series on Spellcrafting, intended to empower you to write your own spells and rituals. We will review correspondences to consider when crafting spells and ritual and how to hone your craft. We will dive into the ethics of Spellcrafting and the importance of choosing the wording of your spells. Together we will practice an assortment of spells as well as lend our power to each other’s craft.  This study of spellcrafting will deepen your connection to the witch’s path, enriching your magickal practice. 

Students are expected to have spent a year and a day in study and to have knowledge of the foundations of the craft. (i.e. bones of ritual, grounding, shielding, moon magick, ethics of the craft)

Class time: Mondays 5:30-7:30pm

Class dates: February 16, March 16, and April 20.

Class 1: Correspondences, Substitutions, Timing, Quick spells and rituals

This class will focus on a review of correspondences to enhance power and connection in spellwork. We will talk about substitutions in spells and how to choose tools and items needed for spell work. We will discuss how to abbreviate casting a circle and calling the quarters so that it can be done in a moment when needed. We will talk about quick candle spells and daily rituals, with focus on how to be clear with intentions, harming none and for your highest good. 

Class 2: Ethics of Spell work, Cleansing, Grounding and Raising energy, Full Ritual

Come prepared, dressed with intention and ready to create magick together. After reviewing the ethics of Spellcrafting, together, we will go through crafting a ritual from scratch, to performing that ritual together. Each student will take on a role in the ritual. All materials will be provided. 

Class 3: Spell-writing and the 3 day spell. 

The words we choose in our spellwork are of the utmost importance. In this class we will dive deeper into analysing your need for magick to work on your behalf so we can better craft the spell needed. Spells need to be clear and every word chosen with intention in order to reach the desired outcome. In this class we will also discuss multiple day spells and begin a 3 day spell together.
