Vero Light - Folk Herbalist

Vero Light has devoted nearly twenty years to working with plants and their powerful ability to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Her training began at Misty Meadows Herbal Center under the guidance of Wendy Snow Fogg, and she has since pursued advanced studies with numerous respected elders within the herbal community. During her time at Misty Meadows, she served as a medicine maker and later joined the teaching staff—a role she continues to fulfill in the Level 1 Herbal Studies Program.

Vero is the co-owner of Spirit Wise Herbs & Magick and is available daily in the Portsmouth shop, offering guidance to customers on healing plants, herbal remedies, and magickal practices.

Her work is rooted in the traditions of green witchcraft and plant medicine, and is guided by spirit, intuition, and heartfelt connection.

In private consultations, Vero offers individualized support to clients seeking to improve their well-being through adjustments in diet, lifestyle, and spiritual practice.

Judy Santangelo - Clinical Herbalist

Judy has completed certification in Advanced Herbal Studies and Clinical Practice and is a Clinical Herbalist. She has studied herbal medicine with Wendy Snow-Fogg and has completed all three levels of training. She studied on her own for many years prior to her formal education. Judy brings with her over 30 years of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant in family medicine.

She has a strong understanding of dis-ease and how it affects the body. Studying herbalism has helped her connect the dis-ease process with the mind and spirit as well. Judy also has experience as an herbal product maker and a teacher of the level 1 and 3 certification programs at Misty Meadows in Lee NH. She is a Green Fire Reiki practitioner and has studied End of Life Herbal Care with Emily Ruff through Sage Mountain. Her special interests include gut health. Modern research on this topic is uncovering many links to gut dysbiosis and chronic disease.

Judy can help you find your way to a healthy gut microbiome and to overall wellness.  Initial consultation appointments are typically between 1 to 2 hours. We will review your health, diet, sleep, medications, relationships and spirituality. You will be encouraged to share your story and what you hope to accomplish with your herbal consultation. I will assess possible imbalances in your organ systems and formulate herbal remedies specifically for you to bring your health back into balance.

Judy is available for consultations by appointment only.
Herbal Consultation fees are as follows: $120 per hour and $60 per half hour. Please note that the initial consultation typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours to allow for a comprehensive intake, assessment, and personalized recommendations.
